"Octane Twisted" will be released as a 2CD/DVD set on November 5th, 2012 in honor of the day Dr Emmett Brown invented the flux capacitor.
News from the Porcupine Tree fansite StarsDie.com. However, the date they give for the recording appears to have been in Detroit.

If this think is not available in Blu-Ray or DVD without the CDS, Wilson will be my enemy for a long time, and i will make sure to avoid purchasing all his projects.

Sad there is no recording available of the Royal Albert Hall or Radio City Music Hall concert... I want to hear the accoustic set.

Oh jeez, really? I just read what all the hubbub was about. Are all prog giants supposed to be friends or something? No matter, I'll still check this out, along with Get All You Deserve.

I keep seeing this thread and thinking there's a new PT studio album coming out. I get disappointed every time I enter.

There is? Where?
At Steven Wilson's house. The audio was recorded for the Royal Albert Hall concert, and a picture of the audience holding up their hands like the cover of "The Incident" was taken to be used as the cover for a CD set but I'm guessing that won't come out for another year or something. No official video of the Royal Albert Hall or Radio City Music Hall concerts was recorded since Steven didn't want to add any extra pressure to himself and the band.

I really wish they'd put out the live album of the Albert Hall show. It was good enough for Opeth! Such a milestone career event in such a historic venue cannot go unpreserved for posterity.

As you know I posted in favour of Roine in the thread you refer to but I'll be getting this without a doubt. I'm a huge fan of PT and absolutely loved The Incident. I've been keeping my fingers crossed that we'd get a live dvd with a performance of the whole album. I honestly thought the chances of that were gone so I'm well happy to see the news. Can't wait for this.
Count me in for Get All You Deserve too.

I think the recording has been pulled so I can't say how you find it, but at the end of the day a you cannot beat the real thing.
I've listened to it its the same set list as the incoming CD DVD apart from Mother and child, The sound of Muzak, Strip the Soul, The start of something beautiful, No blackest eyes.
I'm not a fan of bootlegs as the quality is more often than not, poor, but this was right up there, but it still won't top the real deal.
its out there I got it from a friend. and I won't ask questions, it will pop up at some record fair or on the net.
Sorry to dangle a carrot but I thought the recording would be easy to obtain.
This recording will be has been a good insight into that tour, but soon as a own the official
recoding it the Leeds recording will be binned, I collect high rez recordings and I can't listen to quality lower than that.

I don't have a live album or DVD of a gig I've been to. The challenge of trying to find yourself in the audience (on the DVD) would be interesting, unless you were on the front row.
I missed PT on this tour which is a big regret of mine. This CD/DVD is therefore great news for me.

Yeah, I collect just about any PT recording I can find, both official and unofficial. The real live albums are of much higher quality than the bootlegs. I've been looking forward to a proper live document of the Incident tour for a long time.

Pre-ordered....under protest. The DVD is apparently limited edition only, so I imagine it won't be around forever.

Yeah, I guess for this release the DVD is actually a "bonus". The normal editions are just 2 CD. Get All You Deserve is the exact opposite, much to my dismay, as I'd rather just have the two CD's for that one.

Oh man....this should be fun!
Hope that DVD looks/sounds great....I always prefer to "watch" live stuff...I want to see the band do it. When it comes to CD listening I prefer studio albums to live. Don't know why..... Would have loved to see the DVD packaged separately with some extra goodies. Can't wait to see this, looks like it will be out 11-19?
