Hey, just landed on this a few days ago. I tend to take awhile to explore new bands, so naturally, it took me awhile to discover this corner of the web and get interested enough to discuss. I'm at Towson U in MD for music education, primary instrument: bassoon. I love the symphonic side of prog, i.e. Renaissance. Nothings better than hearing some Debussy in a prog song.

You might want to check out Henry Cow then. They have Lindsay Cooper as a bassoon player. Also, the band Univers Zero has Michel Berckmans, who plays bassoon and oboe and other instruments.
