Well, I thought that the forum would be interested in the fact that Mike Portnoy has won "Best Drummer" and "Best Prog Drummer" for a second straight time in DRUM! Magazine's Annual Drummies. I have to say that Mike Portnoy this year demonstrated his true drumming diversity.

At this point MP winning all these awards for the xth time in a row just annoys me. I'm a huge MP fan, but seriously, there are so many fantastic drummers out there and I feel like he's been smothering all the fame for so long. And seriously, best prog drummer? He hasn't done anything all that prog since The Whirlwind

^ Pretty much agree (sans being a huge MP fan Tongue).

But congrats to him nonetheless.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
