I'm a big fan of Phish. Many members here are as well, though not enough in my opinion.

However, there's already a Phish Appreciation Thread:

By the way, Farmhouse? It's a great song and all, but is not at all proggy-Phish. There is a misconception with their music on PA, and I think a song like Divided Sky, You Enjoy Myself, or Reba would have been a better song for someone who likes Prog but isn't familiar with Phish; or thinks they're just a hippy-dippy band.

Here's a question for Phish fans. I have heard one album that sounded like jazz music meets hippie jam band meets prog. I think it was live. But they had multiple wind instruments in the group, and it sounded AMAZING and have NEVER heard anything compared to that album. But I have never been able to find that album again. And because of that amazing album, every single phish album has disappointed me since then.

What am I thinking of?
