So, doing this on PA, the results i'll be pretty obvious, but I want you to really think about which you prefer as a whole?

I chose to look at the poll like a who has the best singing voice type of deal, and ultimately decided on the mob guy. Just like Jim Morrison, Frankie boy too had that wonderful way of tasting the words as he went along. A word like love can have a thousand different meanings in his mouth.
This is coming from a huuuuge Zappa fan boy, but he never could sing. Not really. Great at funny anecdotes and mumblings, but no not much of a singer.

Zappa never recorded a Bertolt Brecht/Kurt Weill song - Sinatra's the man.

Sinatra had a great voice and was the king of "wise-guy" cool but he also hated rock music with a passion. It would only be Sinatra if you could somehow get into his inner circle but, since he's dead, that's unlikely. I'll stick with my Frank Zappa bumper sticker.

While Sinatra was a master of phrasing, and had a cool jazz voice, Zappa was one of the premier composers of the 20th century, a fantastic guitar soloist, and an amazing artist.
No comparison.

By the way, Sinatra (as well as Elvis) was Morrison's favourite singer.

Oh, and I voted for the musical genius, not the guy who sang other people's songs. No comparison.

No comparison should be mmade because their music are not the same at all. Plus Zappa is an extraordinary songwritter and Sinatra is a good singer but he doesn't compose.

Zappa for me by far. Not probably surprising to most. I like Sinatra's music when I'm in the mood for that kind of stuff, but that's not often.

havent seen it so can not lay my justice upon his acting preformance, i have seen two or three movies with Sinatra, and he was actuyaly quite good in the roles i saw him in, sharming, beleavable and he could also sing his parts where singing was needed and dance (not in Fred Astair level) but better then most

The difference is pretty vast...
Hm I forgot about Sinatra's acting career, well really that doesn't mean much to me.
Nothing against Sinatra but gotta give it to Zappa by miles
