^I love that. He has a lot of great comedy skit characters. I was published in the TV Times for a scintillating commentary I wrote about Rowan Atkinson back in the early 90s I didn't enjoy the Inspector series as much as The Black Adder or Mr. Bean which I once adored, or much at all. Still, The Black Adder/ Blackadder though I haven't seen it for a long time, but I loved that so much. Recently my eight year old daughter (she's a green belt) was training for a Tae Kwan Do sparring tournament, and I showed her this for inspiration.
One of my favourite Rowan Atkinson things on TV was his Guide to Physical Comedy (have it taped on VHS somewhere, but no working VCR. Must be online).

Everybody knows that Edmund is his greatest creation. A more difficult question would be if its 123or4 ?

Neat. I wished you lived closer to tutor my daughter a bit. I have a
terrible memory for patterns, whereas my wife would get them immediately
while I did the sparring, but I don't practice with my daughter
any-more due to a neck injury. Are you still studying, or did you stop
at red belt? I was talking to mixed martial arts guy at a party the
other day who was competitive and has a dojo, and he was sort of making
fun of taekwondo people in fights for being more about pattern and
technique than actaully getting down-and-dirty in fighting. That's why I
want my kids in taekowndo. I don't want them growing up to be jujitsu
cage bleeders, I just want something that is healthy, rteaches
discilpine, and some self-defence techniques.

That would be hard to answer as I love each series in its own way. The first is more physical and has a less setty feel, and the dialogue is rather more clever in the later series. A Blackadder, including the specials, Survivor series would be a neat idea, or at least for the finales of each season. Goodbyeee was, I thought, a really powerful finale for Blackadder Goes Forth.
The Christmas Special was mostly great for the loincloths (what da ya expect from someone with my avatar? though I am surprisingly straight) -- Baldrick being the highlight, but here's Edmund.
Oh, another thing I loved with Rowan Atkinson is Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death with Atkinson as the Doctor -- I've posted this a bunch of times over the years in different places, and surprisingly to me, no one has commented positively towards it.

Really? This is intriguing!
I fear perhaps you're being sarcastic, but if not.... I was born a Canadian citizen as I was born in Canada; however, because my father is from (born in) England, I was also automatically born a British citizen, and got my passport (I commonly use that one to travel). Since my mother was born in Australia, I was entitled to Australian citizenship by descent and so got my Australian passport. It's very convenient. I just wish I could get a Japanese passport, but that's pretty out of the question.

I honestly was not being sarcastic. I swear to you. And thanks for divulging.

Never cared for Bean. I always preferred Atkinson's verbal barbs to his physical comedy. Blackadder gets my vote, followed by The Thin Blue Line if it was included as an option.

Blackadder all the way, with a slight preference for Blackadder III.

I'm still slowly beginning to really like him, occasionally catching Bean and marveling at the non-verbal motif, Atkinson is indeed a great talent up there with Jacques Tati.

Blackadder.
Although his live shows are awesome as well. Particular favourites of mine are his "Lessons in Shakespearean acting" sketch and the "Invisible drum kit".
