I am just moved and am looking to purchase some prog posters for my room.  Genesis, Yes, ELP, just about any classic band would do, but would love to have Krautrock and Italian posters as well, Can and Eloy for a start.  Any suggestions about where I could go online to find this stuff other than the crapshoot that is Ebay?

I hear there's a poster with 26589 posts that's very cheap, though inexplicably dear to some (a none-too-serious cheap shot). ;)

I can't vouch for this, but there is this place: http://www.zazzle.ca/krautrock+gifts" rel="nofollow - http://www.zazzle.ca/krautrock+gifts   I wonder how legit it is?  I would doubt they have permission or any royalties are given if they use both band-names and artwork from albums.  I'd try checking the various band-site to see if they sell posters if you haven't already.

If you ask the guy from SOT for a promo of their album Kind of Saltz it has some nice posters.  You can usually find Pink Floyd ones at record stores.  Beyond that, I haven't really seen anything.  Got a small Bigelf poster at a concert once.

If you think €79 is not too expensive, you can buy a package of 6 posters, a tour flyer and a T-shirt of Eloy over here:  http://shop.rootbeat.de/epages/62365013.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62365013/Products/201-389-0002" rel="nofollow - http://shop.rootbeat.de/epages/62365013.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62365013/Products/201-389-0002  (It's still in stock despite being limited to 50 packages. So I guess most fans think it IS expensive)

Have you tried a Google search?  I hear they are good for finding things. Wink

By the way, prog fans are required by law to have at least one R http://www.google.com/search?q=roger+dean+posters&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=tSW&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=imvnso&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=L2J7T6qxOYqs8QTqqtHiBA&ved=0CHEQsAQ&biw=1602&bih=915" rel="nofollow - oger Dean poster.

Seeing that you are in Ann Arbor, you might want to check out this place.  http://www.shopflipsiderecords.com/products.nxg" rel="nofollow - http://www.shopflipsiderecords.com/products.nxg    They have rock posters and some classic prog stuff.  You might want to call them and ask them if they have anything in particular that you are looking for.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions.  Rushfan4, I think I will try Flipside.  We have really cool record stores here in A2, but not a lot of great poster shops, which is weird for a college town.  My girlfriend thinks I should just do the whole apartment in Roger Dean, but his shop doesn't have any posters right now,
