They're worthy of purchase if you want one and are prepared to pay the price, they're not if you don't. What more do you want to know?

If I were you, buy a REAL keyboard, or better, real synths. Or buy a guitar. But not a keytar. It's just a gimmick, a plaything. But well: I'm not you, but since you ASKED... that's my opinion anyway. Keytar is just a wannabe guitar. A keyboard in an identity crisis |

I think the picture I posted obviously speaks for itself. If you buy a keytar, chances are you'll end up like one of those guys. P.S. My punk-proggy band, Natural Level (for which I play drums for) has a song titled "We Need A Keytar Player."
