Hey! Thought this music might appeal to some of the people on this forum... Sheffield-based Post-Progressive Rock band inFictions release their ambitious and dynamic debut album 'Maps of Revenge and Forgiveness' on Monday Feb 20th 2012. The album will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers and also on limited edition CD available from www.in-fictions.co.uk 3 years in the making, the album has benefitted from collaborations with 5 studios, 8 drummers and a host of session musicians and arrangers. The album was completed on a microscopic budget for something of its scope and complexity. Videos... Bands like Radiohead and Muse immediately spring to mind - one of which is in Crossover, the other in Prog-Related...but there are post rock touches to this too. I guess we need to wait to hear the rest of the album (or at least most of it) in full before making a call on this one... |

Thanks folks. If anyone has any suggestions, based on what genre(s) you think inFictions fit, as to where we might send the album to try and get reviews or radio play....your input would be HUGELY appreciated. :-) I'm exploring the rest of the forums now...

Thanks for this. Looks like a couple of people who have bought the album so far were directed to it from this forum so glad I stumbled across you. Not a problem Ed. They're all sites I use regularly, and it didn't take long to throw the list together! Also don't forget the Internet Radio sites recommended by Progarchives from the 'Prog Radios' button at the top of the home page: http://www.progarchives.com/ProgRadio.asp" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/ProgRadio.asp . These are all damn fine stations, and I've no doubt that several would probably fit you into their rotation if you asked them nicely.
