I decided to forgo a numbered poll.

You’ve probably never thought of yourself as a supporter of slavery, but the online tool http://www.slaveryfootprint.org/" rel="nofollow - Slavery Footprint reveals evidence of forced labor in your closet, your garage, your refrigerator, and every other corner of your life.

I've got 41.

I liked the interface and educational information.  Dang, I'm leading?  Embarrassed

I revisited and it turns out I personally have 37.  The excess were my wife's.

The interface of the quiz is so terribly designed I got tired of it after about 3 minutes. Guess I'll just continue living in blissful ignorance.

I could fill it in, but it would get stuck on Q11 and wouldn't give me a result

My slavery footprint is 0 since I have never owned one nor supported such an institution.

The blood is on your hands. I would pay extra for something made by slaves, but that quiz was too irritating for me to complete.

That isn't what you get when you run the thing to it's max is it?  Wait, I'll get back to you. LOL
You have some parameters that you can really max out and still keep going.  I made it up to 116.

I disagree with the general methodology if that is what you mean by that. You can trace your dollars back to anything at all. It's kind of stupid. Much like the entire design of that website which frustrated me and caused me to not get the number they would assign to me.

I just want to know if I can have some of them over to do yard work and house cleaning. LOL

I apparently have 38 slaves. But I've never seen them. Are they invisible? If I own people I want to be able to beat them too, so by denying me that I would hesitate to call them my my slaves. Maybe I'm just borrowing or leasing them. I'm really not comfortable with someone other than me harassing my slaves.

I would never mistreat them and I would feed them as well as possible.

According to this survey, 21 people worked on the stuff I own in the conditions of slavery.
But I'm not really sure about all my answers (especially about food and clothes) and I wonder if this survey shouldn't also take in count some other points, such as :
 - how old is the electronic equipment?
 - where and/or when were bought the clothes?
 - what if I buy coffee or eat food from "fairtrade" brands (if this trade is really as "fair" as these brands claim it)?

I have 25 slaves.  And looking at the state of the house and the garden they are not very hard working.  When I find them I will give them a piece of my mind!

(Edit went down from 30 to 25 due to changes in medicine stuff)

The test is a nonsense - it assumes too much. Based on the results in this thread there are more slaves than there are people on the planet. Current estimates predict (guess) there are between 2.7 and 100 million people working in conditions that could be regarded as slavery - with around 500million people living in the western world enjoying the benfits of that slave-labour we each "own" 1/5th of a slave. It's still not a number to be proud of, it should be zero.

I have never owned any slaves yet so without answering that test I can say mine is zero.

I decided to change my lifestyle overnight and got 158 slaves working for me now.

On the other hand, if I had to believe what I said in this survey, I'm a morbidly obese trillionaire.

Let's have a look at your basement then. Tongue

Mebbeee our slaves our multi-tasking.  Yes, it is a silly poll, but I thought we could have a little fun with it.
