I really don't appreciate a link to Ringo Star playing along to Karn Evil
#9 being deleted.  Is that because of the YouTube link?

Otherwise, a few other original posts of mine have been deleted.
I am almost grateful, because I spend too much time on this site anyway.

But I'm curious to see this kind of censorship.  Makes me feel someone
doesn't have much of a life and needs to create little petty squabbles
with people that do.

Posts can only be deleted by the poster him/herself, or by Admin/Moderators; this is not done without reason - can you give me an example of "a few other original posts" having been deleted please?

There is no official site policy against youtube links.  In my many years here I've had one or two posts censored, but they don't disappear.  As the poster you can see them and usually you go "oh yeah, I was out of line on that one."

I did a quick search for the word "Ringo" and came up with this:

It's always funny, when you see great conspiracy, weave paranoid theories and big-brother principles, only to find that it was just a common overlooking, his own fault.

Then you usually feel sorry for all you wrote in OP.

Hey, I'm really sorry about the random act of paranoia  Big smile

but seriously, I did have some pretty far-out and mind bending posts deleted before,
I think two times.  maybe they were moved to the twilight zone.

I doubt it chief - we don't delete threads unless we have to - it really is that simple - we will occasionally (and that's very occasionally) hide a single post in a thread but only if it is offensive or contains illegal content - but if we hide it the originator can still see it. However, here I suspect you are not talking about posts you have made in other threads but thread you have started.

Using the "find member posts" in your profile (yes, you can do it too) and setting the search date to "Any Date" I've counted 24 threads started by you - for someone with only 207 posts in total, that sounds a high ratio of threads to posts to me, so I really can't see that any threads would have been deleted. The evidence so far would suggest some may have been moved, though finding those shouldn't have proved to be impossible as we do leave a "moved" icon in the original thread most of the time - the other possibility is that they simply dropped off the first page of whatever lounge you made them in and you just didn't see them - who knows - it's a big place anything could have happened but unless you've been really offensive or obnoxious it is very very unlikely we've ever deleted one of your threads.

Yeah, sure they weren't moved? Threads are moved often, sometimes to peoples confusion. I know a few times I've thought WTF happened to mine? Just to see it was moved somewhere else.

Before knowing better, I once addressed a Senior Chief as "Chief".  You only make that mistake once.

When you get older you'll appreciate why your threads and or posts had to be disappeared to another location where they are being treated well.  We want them all to lead a normal life.
