Everytime I search on this website, it becomes clear that I can't get all the information I want: in example, i can't know all the albums in whom Mike Oldfield or Allan Holdsworth play. Also the navigation is a bit difficult because there aren't many hyperlinks that would make it easier. When I noticed this, I suddenly thought "Well, there must be a wiki somewhere" but it wasn't. Currently there are two prog rock wikis, but their admins have probably forgot them and they both have less than 10 articles. Indeed a wiki can't go on without any admin; and we can't costantly use wikipedia because it can't be filled with mostly unknown bands.
So I think it would be a good idea to create a wiki; i have some experience with Wikipedia, so I shouldn't have much problem with going to wikia and start it; I already have the big picture in mind, I just need someone to help me with templates and a lot of people to fill the wiki with information.
Is somebody interested?
(sorry about my poor english ^^")
Admins, feel free to move this to "Get the word out"

^ I see. Why not put the information on Wikipedia, then?

^ You just can't if it can't be considered important enough for Wikipedia.

As soon as Wiki gives us our due respect. By the way, Google Brian S. Lindsey. Surely I am somebody.
Oh crap, I am now LinkedIn. It's me, I guess I have to be more responsible in my commentary.

Wikipedia itself is much more demanding with the information they deem sufficiently notable, while you can put anything that is not illegal on a Wikia.
Anyway, it seems you http://progrock.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page" rel="nofollow - already made this a couple months ago ...I support it but I won't really be putting in any effort to contribute.

No, that wiki isn't mine. I thought about helping it at first but the admin is not looking after it, so it's difficult to grow a lot.
