Apologies, but the site has problems with Russian characters. How can I delete the crap that I have added?

OK I've deleted the album (Creation of Peace) so just go ahead and add it again without the foreign language characters

Thanks...when there are bad characters you get an HTTP error but the album is added before. I have realized it after removing the Russian stuff that I had submitted it three times.

^ In case of correcting info from Admin panel Russian characters will be shown correctly even in the album title.

^ not sure that's true as they show correctly in the song titles but always appear garbled in the album title?

I'm an IT person, unfortunately. I think the issue it that the album title is a key of a database table

Octopus. I did the same as you did some time ago and I was told by Easy Livin this is a problem we have. Maybe it is about time to solve it/take a look into it/put up a sub commitee to have a look into it/set up a Royal Commission to have a look into it, Admins ?

If it was just an IT problem I'd say switch off/switch on Big smile

I'm afraid that this issue can't be fixed easily. If the database has been built with a specific character set it's possible that you have to scratch and recreate it completely to make it able, if possible, to support DBCS character sets or similar.

The best thing may be just google the translation (as I did) and make the addition putting the original title in the release notes. I haven't tried anything Greek or Indian...
