Oops, looks like we can't find that page!
Did you try to access a private track, but were not logged in?
Maybe the track or user has been removed

I am logged in at Soundcloud.

Reminds me of some of the music off one of my favorite soundtracks.  Clap  Heard a bit of Epping Forest in there too!  Cool

This reminds me of Anthony Phillips " Sail the World"  and it's very good because your composition has a visual for the listener......very nice..

Clap First effort? - a fine effort it is too, I had no idea such talent lurked behind the Snow Dog persona - nice one Ian, (I wish I could write a drum track that well).

Thanks. But I don't want to give the impression I did a lot of work. I have used a music making programme Dean, which comes with al sorts of samples. One has to simply drop them in the timeline. I'm not pretending to be a great talent but its the only way I can create something.

I hope to get more hands on eventually and create entirely my own pieces but this is jut a first try out.

I used MAGIX products for quite some time before switching to Sony.

But now Sony is getting to me- my software recognizes my VST instruments, but not my VST effects.  Unhappy

Very nice - pleasant, calm atmosphere very well brought about by the nice digital synth used. Very nice listen.

Good first attempt. Sounds nice for electronic music.

The martial snare intro is inspired but I'm not so keen on the throbbing 'dancey' sounding synth sample (it cuts off very abruptly as the piece develops) liked the skittering hi hat bit and isolated drums passages, nice melodic ideas and textures in the middle. Very haunting lead sound circa 5.22 which imitates the human voice quite effectively. Not so keen on the palm muted guitar sample (seems incongruous with the overall feel) Circa 7.00 there's a brilliant momentary collision of synth and snare which makes the latter sound as if it's like a tuned gong type 'thang'
Pretty nifty and a damn sight better than most of the loop based dance music I've heard.

That's really constructive criticism. Thanks.

I like the compositions and the style, but I think the quality of the samples and synths is questionable. I think it would be neat to see what you could do with a good set of instrument plugins.

I must get on with the next composition that I started ages ago.
