Subject: 500 posts in five years - a record?

This is my 501st post, although I joined over five-and-a-half years ago. That must be some kind of record here, where some people seem to post 500 threads in one week! Is there anyone else here with a comparible record to mine? There's no point to my question, I'm just curious that's all.

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=7" rel="nofollow - Ronald has made 89 posts?
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/members.asp?SF=&GID=0&SO=LU&PN=2" rel="nofollow - There are quite a few people almost no posts who seem to log in at least semi-regularly , although most of them are gone forever.

I'm not sure that I entirely understand, but I've only been posting on these forums for less than a year and I'm over 3000 posts. Make of that what you will.

You have averaged 20.87 posts per day, which is 23.95 days, Matt has averaged 44.69, which is 11.19 days. I have averaged 12.77, which is 39.15 days.
This was important information for me to calculate.

Using the Windows calculator is somehow not impressive to people.

I think I had under 500 posts back in 2008 or 2009, before I became really active on these forums. Beforehand, I rarely went on the forum, and just used the site for what it is.
I still don't post as much as some here. I don't go on the shreds often enough

500 posts in 5 years? Not bad. I'll be impressed if someone manages 500 posts in 500 years.

Typewriters don't work well when submerged, that's why they used monkeys.

My average is 0.21 per day, which is one fifth of a post per day. So, on that basis, I'm posting once every five days. I wouldn't have thought it was that often. Are the averages based on total posts since registering or on more recent posts?

Yes, it's just your total posts divided by the number of days you have been registered to save you the trouble of getting out our calendar and calculator.

Tis true about Zappaholic, I know it's the gag but really not sure why he pretends to be the insanely annoying guy that pisses everyone off. Hell, Henry is far more annoying, and there are loads of others who aren't even trying!
Then there's this JJ guy who is just an all around toolbag. It's wise not posting here too often!

Well, I am. Posting in about the same tempo as you are, that is (avg 0,22 posts per day). I'd say I'll brake your record if I listen to music a tiny bit more, write reviews and attend concerts more often instead of babbling here on the forum
