A Contradiction is a local band here in Indiana. They play progressive metal with a metalcore leaning. Here's a low-quality clip (sorry, that's all there is on youtube): You can skip to about 3:00 in if you want. The band is unsigned and consists of Samuel Lawton (drums, backing vocals), Taylor Blythe (guitar), Brenden Macy (vocals), and Andrew Hall (bass). They deleted their MySpace and the samples on Facebook don't work either. Looks like they weren't satisfied with the EP (?) The only way they could get evaluated would be you sending the EP to the PMT guys via PM. |

I would say personally that this band has come to a sticky end. No facebook wall updates since 14th July 2010 The myspace page given on their facebook info page ( http://www.myspace.com/acontradictionband" rel="nofollow - www.myspace.com/acontradictionband ) just returns an error message, and if you view a cached version (Sept 8th was the most recent one available), the last log-in on there was 20th Sept 2010. The band has uploaded 14 videos onto YouTube (you can view them all here: http://www.youtube.com/user/AContradictionBand" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/user/AContradictionBand ), but again the most recent addition was well over a year ago (May 10th 2010 to be precise). Doesn't give the impression of a currently active band tbf. Edit: Sorry, Alex - you got in before me while I was busy checking them out

| That's strange because when I posted this last month their myspace and facebook were streaming fine. I'm curious now why they took everything down. I'll have to ask. Thanks for listening though |
