Listed band here in The Aquarian as one of the NYC/NJ/PA area's top unsigned bands:

With Violins, Saxophone, Trumpet, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Vocals and more happening, these guys are definitely worth checking out!

A review of the band posted on EardrumNYC

"Hoping to remove the stigma New Jersey has garnered through certain unmentionable television programs,Thank You Scientist is a seven piece progressive rock group that features no spray tans or blowouts. The band has been captivating live audiences throughout New Jersey and New York with their "face-melting" live performances. With the release of their debut ep, "The Perils of Time Travel," an unprecedented amalgam of progressive rock, indie, jazz fusion, and classical, their sound is prone to leaving audiences slack-jawed, transfixed, and generally confused. A Frank Zappa for the indie generation? Incubus jamming with the Mahavishnu Orchestra? Mr. Bungle and Steely Dan joining forces to fight Godzilla? King Crimson and the Brecker Brothers serenading you at your bedside? It all seems so strange on paper, yet it's sure to satisfy your ears in the best of ways. "

"Another band called Thank You Scientist  that I really love – a former guitar student of mine Tom Monda, the band reminds me of a mix of Dream Theater, Dave Matthews, and Incubus. Incredible band. I mastered their debut ep, love this band." - Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Guns N'Roses, Solo Artist (from http://unplugged.ee/bumblefoot-guns-roses-intervjuu/" rel="nofollow - http://unplugged.ee/bumblefoot-guns-roses-intervjuu/ )

"What sets Thank You Scientist really apart from the rest is their uncanny ability to fuse pop music sensibilities in their otherwise rather complex music." Are you offering promo copies?

Thanks for the review Andyman!  I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it :) We will be recording a full length around March that should be out by the summer.  Suffice to say, I'm very excited about this new material.  If you are interested, I'd love to send you some free stickers (once we reprint them)  to show our appreciation for your support.  Just send me an email thankyouscientist (at) g mail dot com, and we'll arrange that.

Conor- We unfortunately don't have any physical promo copies of the record left.  We are almost completely sold out of the first pressing and have to save the rest for upcoming gigs.  It is however available online in digital format for five dollars.  If you hate it, I'll send you five bucks, and a sticker :)  Unfortunately I can't send around free mp3s for everyone because we are trying to eat/surrive from the music.  By the same token, I'm sure you can find it posted illegally somewhere online with a creative google search or two...Thanks for your interest dude :)

Cheers! I will say though; a well-written review can potentially be worth hundreds of dollars, depending on who reads it. Wink All the best!
