It likely depends on the group. Some remasters sound better while others just sound louder. It would be an expensive habit to constantly replace your music. |

The remasters were done by Jerry Harrison and also have a 5.1 surround sound mix by Jerry, bonus tracks and bonus video, so in the case of the first four studio albums, I'll say a definite yes. My only complaint is that they have drafts of the lyrics as part of the booklet art but not the lyrics to match the songs.

Good insight, thanks. I may eventually replace all of my originals, but that is a good place to start. Remain in Light and Fear of Music are my two favorites, but who knows what the remasters and some time will do to my opinion. |
