Not prog but will be of interest to those into heavier rock: I've just come across a British power trio (father, son and son's mate), The Brew. While been active for a number of years they have completely sneaked under my radar until last week. Their publicity hype is way OTT in places - e.g. better guitarist than Hendrix (WOT???). However, having heard tracks from their 2010 and forthcoming albums (respectively 'A Million Dead Stars' & 'The Third Floor'), I must admit I'm hearing some quality rock that has not come my way for a number of years. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/images/B0031RB0HG/ref=dp_image_z_0?ie=UTF8&n=229816&s=music" rel="nofollow">

In particular, the first three track on 'A Million Dead Stars' work for me.
