Does anybody know what time Pink Floyd will be performing at Live 8?  I'm asking this because they're the only must-see for me, and while there are others who I don't might watching, there are some who I really would prefer not to have to sit through.

From what I heard from a pretty reliable source, they are the last but one band to play at live8, so it will be pretty late.

They are going to play only 3 songs - Breathe, Comfortably numb and Wish you were here.

As a follow-up, I've come across something that says the London show will finish at 9:30pm local time (which I think is 8:30 GMT), with Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney being the final two acts, in that order.  That means that Floyd should start somewhere around 9:00.  However, I make no claims as to the accuracy of information.

It's an intersting choice of songs.  Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here I'm not surprised about, but Breathe seems a slightly odd choice.  I would have expected Money or Another Brick Part 2 in its place.  On the other hand, Breathe is a short song, so maybe we're getting an extended version of Comfortably Numb.

I heard that they are playing a 4 song set with Shine on You Crazy Diamond in the mix.

I used to own every lp on vinyl. I don't anymore. It kind of makes me want to go out to the store and spend a couple hundred dollars on their cds.

I thought it was brilliant. Worth the wait, fantastic ti see that Dave Gilmour still has high reach and glad to see Roger is still enjoying the show....which is not something you can fake I think if you' restanding in front of millions.  Rockon please

Sat up all night watching the livecast here in New Zealand. Started at 1.00am and finished at 11.00am today (Sunday). I had the feeling that Pink Floyd would be one of the last two groups to come on stage. and WOW!!! - Just amazing. Worth sitting up all night to see them play together and I am sure I caught Roger grinning a few times. Great choice of music for their set - Breathe; Money, Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb - oh how I wished they would keep on playing - they sounded so good together. I wonder if this was really a one off or whether they will perhaps do one more recording or tour together!!
