The first type. The courtroom series bore me.

(Have you also watched Cold Case, Agi? Kathryn Morris is rly pretty k)

(I also like the old German series like Ein Fall für zwei and Der Alte, and obviously Columbo is pure brilliance.)

(Also NYPD Blue.)

(All of these would fall into the first category I think.)

I used to watch Criminal MInds, but I got distracted and didn't watch any after the first season or so. I came back to it recently and I was surprised that: it didn't seem nearly as good as I remembered (that I now think FBI profilers are full of sh*t probably doesn't help). And it felt more lurid than Dexter, even though it's obviously less explicit, which I guess shows how long I've been away from network TV that this surprises me.

I have to say that generally a police procedural interests me more.

That link was purple, so I apparently clicked on it. Then I remembered that it was long and NOBODY CARES JESUS CHRIST.

It gets better as it goes on. In 1946 a Staff Sergeant in the Army had a nervous breakdown because he thought when everyone said "cocksocker" it was because they knew about his auto-fellatio (they didn't but he got kicked out of the Army, oops). The therapist at the time concluded "Sexual self-sufficiency either by masturbation or autofellatio, is tantamount to having an affinity for one's own sex." So don't masturbate or your gay. Also one guy would do it in front of a shocked audience in the '30s. Useful information for all.

I go for the David E. kelley courtroom series.

"The practice" is wonderful but rather hard to find thee days, with only the first series on DVD. It's spin off, "Boston Legal" brings in a lot more humour, but is also highly entertaining. "Ally McBeal" is pretty good too, but more geared towards the ladies.

Crime investigation series. Court room series should be banned to the radio. There is hardly any reason to put 'em on TV.

Crime investigation if only for Dexter. Best drama ever.  Also, I really like Monk, but that's obviously less "serious" of a show.

Are you referring to the piece of Art I linked or my having watched television?

Kalervo Palsa is one of my favourite artists k, his art reflects the very nature of humanity k

He's also written some brilliant graphic novels (which sadly haven't been translated), Eläkeläinen muistelee is pure brilliance k
