My wife and I are at this very moment listening to a concert of oud
player Rabih Abou-Khalil and the Ensemble Modern, also featuring tuba
player Michel Godard, on the radio. In case you don't know the Ensemble
Modern: They recorded "The Yellow Shark" with Frank Zappa. An excellent
concert so far. And the announcements of Rabih Abou-Khalil, who speaks
flawless German without any accent, are simply hilarious. That man has
a really weird humor; we have heard other concerts with him before.

The pause between two of the musical acts is being filled with music
from other concerts the radio station broadcasted before. At the moment
a concert with the band of Barbara Buchholz, who is one of the few
theremin players in the world.
