So I have a lot of music written, most of it are MIDI files unfortunately. I want to showcase some of my work to get some criticism, and also to form anew band, and people can hear what Ive written
Does anyone know the best way to convert MIDI files to something like youtube, or know a way to transfer the files to something online so people can hear them?
NOTE: I do not have a working computer mic

If you get a program like Guitar Pro, it allows you to export MIDI files as wav.

Your MIDI files will only sound as good as the software or hardware synths you listen to them with. Most PC sequencers (like Guitar Pro5, Cakewalk or Cubase etc) will allow you to export your work in a variety of audio formats (wav/mp3 etc) Cakewalk Sonar even allows you to include a synced video with the audio.

You could always look at my Bandcamp (shameless self promotion ). I use all Midi to make my music.

How did you upload them to Bandcamp? I signed up, and when I tried to upload some songs, it wouldn't let me upload them. The files are .mid
Nice tracks on your page btw

Bandcamp requires all audio uploads to be in lossless format (like wav).

Yea, I thought it was weird I couldn't upload .mp3
Thanks for your help, and I did upload a few tracks onto my own Bandcamp page. Check it out! http://mikeharvey.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - http://mikeharvey.bandcamp.com/

Hello darkshade,
My best suggestion at this stage (you know how to convert MIDI in to wave) is to start getting some VSTs! If you get Reason or Kontakt (or anything that has lots of sounds), you could go from the crappy MIDI sound to something much more realistic in a day or two per track (without mixing...).
