CAMBRIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL Aug.4th-7th 2011
The CRF is held at Barton, Cambs. CB23 7PZ. Easily accessible from the A14 and M11, and 3 miles from the centre of Cambridge.
There are 4 stages: The Main Stage, Stage Two, which is sponsored by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Introducing Stage (Thurs), Classic Rock Society (Fri) Rotary Rocks (Sat and Sun), The Buskers Stage and The Access to Music Stage, dedicated to young musicans
who attend the Access To Music Schools "One of the best training providers in the country". Headlining this year's festival are, The Quireboys, The Hamsters, as part of their farewell tour. Eddie and the Hotrods. The multi-talented and comic John Otway & The Big Band. For Blues buffs, Larry Miller and Chantel McGregor to name a couple. For the Prog-Rock lovers, The Enid, Caravan, Mostly Autumn, Mr So & So, John Young (Asia, Scorpions, The Strawbs) Band, Credo, Panic Room, Heather Findlay and many more.
The CRF is renowned for its beers. There are 70 Real Ales, Wine and Lager for everyone to sample and enjoy. Expertly served by a professional and dedicated team!
It is a small festival with a wonderful atmosphere, very well organized, with passtimes laid on for children. Dogs are welcome. There is also a craft tent, with all sorts of original items being made during the festival. Jugglers, Food Stands, Festival Clothing and CD's for sale.
Late at night when all the stages are quiet, there will be 'The Beepy Sessions' on Stage 2 Dedicated to our friend & Stage 2 Manager the late Pete Wilkins - Big Pete (Beepy).
Camping - cars will be allowed to park next to tents for your convenience and security.

The main stage on the Sunday is dedicated to Progressive Rock, with headliners The Enid, going to be doing something very very special. The great Caravan, Mostly Autumn, Mr So & So (with Steve Rothery of Marillion), The John Young Band, Credo and other great bands.
On the main stage on Friday, Heather Findlay, will be debuting her new band after parting ways with Mostly Autumn. The wonderful Panic Room are playing on the Saturday. On the Classic Rock Society Stage on the Friday are Kyrbgrinder, Paul Menel, Godsticks, Manning...and many more....
