how in a scale from 0/10 would you rate one of the most hated and distructive movies in the 90s it almost distroyd the superhero movie franchise for good, it certainly made a huge bump in Batmans suit. unil the later instalations but what do you think it it as poor as you think or are ther tiny redeemingly postivie/good factors of this failed attempt of movie. for me it is a good pop-corn flick, action and Alicia Silverstone  , otther then that it is average to poor, what your opinions -------------

To be honest I don't remember what's so bad about it, but I don't particularly feel like seeing it again either. 4/10. |

It was bad, but if you revisit Batman Forever, you'll discover that IT was WORSE. Except for Jim Carrey, who was brilliant in it. The worst moment I think was when Bruce Wayne visits Nicole Kidman's home, and he see a copy of Time Magazine with a well lit, clear and up-close PHOTOGRAPH of Batman ON THE COVER. On topic, Batman and Robin sucked too much. Only Michael Bay is worse than Joel Schumacher. 3/10. You know a movie is troubled when Schwarzennegger is the most believable actor of the entire cast.... -------------

The irony of this poll is that I watched Batman and Batman Forever about a month ago, and then went out and bought a DVD that had all 4 movies from that era. Last night I watched Batman Returns, and this weekend I plan on watching Batman and Robin. I saw them all at the theater when they came out, but have not seen most of them since then. -------------

Good Lord, that film was wretched. It subscribed to every single cliche of superhero and action films, the dialogue consisted of nothing but stupid one-liners, and the plot depended entirely on every character being a complete idiot. 2 stars solely because the visuals were decent. Oh, and they gave Batman a Bat-Credit Card. A Bat-Credit Card. A BAT-CREDIT CARD. That makes the Bat-Shark Repellent look awesome, and that's just pathetic. ------------- "I am the one who crossed through space...or stayed where I was...or didn't exist in the first place...." |

I gave it a 1/10. Here's that rationalization behind that. It couldn't have been much worse, but I didn't walk away from it with absolutely nothing. No way! Batman Forever isn't the best but it isn't nearly as horrid as this joke of a movie. Batman Forever could be better, but Batman and Robin is amusing amounts of horrid. Every one of Arnold's lines makes me absolutely lose it, George Clooney....just that, the horrible supposedly Robin character....so many things...When Robin gets frozen and Batman puts him in the water, heats it up with a laser, and then Robin is just fine.....EW ------------- Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell? Oh yeah, the end of Alicia Silverstone's career.
All those movies have too many villians.

I actually didn't like Batman Returns very much. Devito was ok, but it was such a letdown after Nicholson's performance.
