it is a shame this did not come ontu the actual album, it just bugs me that it isent featuerd on the album... not that i would omit songs, but something seems to lack espessially when I learnd of the not featured tracks, it just feels like the album could even be better

If longer space on CDs were as big as it is today they could/should re-record, or re-produce it to include the full "Naminanu/Dodo/Lurker/Submarine". version on the album, Big smile, (hear me Tony and Mike),

I am a conceptual person who likes to se where ends meet and I would like to here the end result of this epic, it is saf it went to the scrapboard, maybe they just lacked the guts, and was unsecure.

what do proggers think of what this song might have been like if it was featured on the album.

have proggers actualy played them after eachother by themself to here how it might have sounded if it were included

I havent but i think it is an inreresting idea, I sometimes scratch my head in bewilderment on how they dropped this idea, the title of the song is really cool and it apeals to my love for fantasy literature

It might be better, for the uninitiated, if you explained what this was all about.

I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a fourteen year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

Thirded! In all the years I have followed the band, I never thought that the version which made it onto Abacab was anything other than the full one.

Seems to be a reference to this quote from the Abacab page on wiki:

Two other songs that were omitted from Abacab—"Naminanu" and "Submarine"—appeared as B-sides on the "Abacab" singles, but were originally intended to be part of "Dodo/Lurker", where the order would have been "Naminanu/Dodo/Lurker/Submarine".

Cheers Bob, although I will pass judgement until I see a better source than WikiBig smile

There has been a thread about this on PA before (that's why I knew what it was all about), however finding it may be a bit tricky!
