Wasn't it called the Pepsi Challenge back in the day. A taste test held in local malls. Your favourite. Coke(Classic) or Pepsi.

I think we can all agree with this, though cola-derived soda isn't my favorite kind of soft drink.

Thankfully, I don't drink much soda anymore. If so trying to keep it to orange soda (lol at the sig Caio) but yes, in the Coke/Pepsi battle I will always know the superior soft drink!
Also how can people not tell the difference? Coke is so much stronger first of all.

True, I find it pretty hard to believe some can't tell the difference.

Coke is stronger. I love how it bites at the back of my throat.
I remember an old boss when we were at lunch and he ordered a rum and Coke and the waitress responded back with, "all we have is Pepsi". "Pepsi!!" he yelled back. He didn't even bothering ordering the drink after all. I just shock my head and laughed.

First vote for Pepsi! For me, Pepsi isn't as syrupy as Coke is. A Coke is really only good for the first couple of minutes, because once the room temperature starts to set in, the flavor starts to go away real quick. Pepsi doesn't have this problem since it's good until the last sip.

Can't drink the Pepsi crap (also prefer Sprite to 7up), tastes like chemical bubblegum stuff.
Not a big canned or bottled-soda drinker....
hated the "new coke" back in the days (does it still exist?) >> it tasted like bad Pepsi
The "classic" coke gets my vote, but i generally squeeze in a quarter lemon in it, to soften the over-sugary taste

I used to be a big fan of coke. I always bought it when I wanted a soda. Nowadays I'm tired of the flavor, and I don't like the caffeine. I drink coffee, and to get maximum effect out of the caffeine, I don't drink any caffeine sodas, I'll just end up being tired.
But for the last two months I've been in the mood for sodas. Always canned. Pommac for example. But I've actually bought Pepsi because it is cheap, and Im not so tired of the flavor.
I discovered a soda that I really like. Guarana Antarctica. From brazil I guess. Very expensive, but it's nice... I've only found it in one store.

Pepsi used to have a Pepsi Challenge booth out in Harvard Square, near the street performers on a regular basis. They would try to skew the results by keeping the Pepsi cold, and serving Coke warm.
I would take their challenge regularly, and always pick the warm Coke, just to piss them off.

Wow, can't believe I haven't posted here yet.
Back when I was drinking carbonated softdrink beverages, I preferred Coke to Pepsi because it was less sweet. If I did a taste test today, I'd probably say that both taste like malted battery acid. (Thank you, Berkeley Breathed.)
Nowadays I prefer ice tea, ice water or black coffee.

I'm not sure I have a genuine preference, but I'm used to buying Coke over Pepsi when I'm at the store. It doesn't bother me at all if I ask for a Coke at a restaurant and am asked "Is Pepsi okay?".
These days I often drink Coke Zero, so I'll just vote Coke.

Coke without a second thought. If it was for Coke products vs. Pepsi products, I would have voted Pepsi (Mountain Dew is my drink of choice), but as it's one cola vs. the other then Coke is the very clear winner.

Personally, I drink more coca cola, but that's because I can't find any Pepsi. I prefer Pepsi because it's rarer, but not in the hipster way, it's just that, it's like prog albums, you feel better when they're rarer.
