Hailing from the metallically prolific North Coast region of Northern Ireland, Dawn play traditionally inspired, hook laden doom metal with elements of progressive music. After two years together the band signed with American label Lone Wolf Music and will release their debut album in the summer of 2005(title TBC)with new vocalist Kat Kirk. Dawn will be playing several dates around mainland UK 2005/2006. With some european dates to be confirmed in the not to distant future...

^ Well, that's real far from "wrist slashing" doom metal, let me tell ya! I think I wouldn't call that doom at all.
