I would just like to say how much i enjoyed the new album; War and Peace & other short stories, by Sean Filkins. For those that know Sean from the band Big Big Train, will no he is a talented singer in the prog rock genre. It is my humble opinion that his new solo album transcends multiple genres of rock and metal but keeping firm to his progressive roots.

There are some guest artists such as Lee Abraham, Gary Chandler, Dave Meros, John Mitchell, and Darren Newitt who add another dimension to the music and along with Sean’s vocals take you on a journey of happiness, despair and everything in between. I for one can guarantee that the journey is worthwhile and recommend starting off with a nice cup of tea.
