Generally Nick worked hard and played well on The Wall. He even worked out a way of reading music for the drums. But there was one track called Mother which he really didn't get. So I hired Jeff Porcaro to do it. And Roger latched on to this idea, the way he always did with my ideas, and began to think, is Nick really necessary?

Was me quoting that really necessary?

no I like Nick, but im a big fan of Toto and what each of the band members have  as session musicians worked on is a stunning list of bands and artists,

when I saw that one of those records was a Pink Floyd record (and I later found out that few Floyd fans was awere of it), it gave me even bigger currage to spread the info, so it is never again forgotten. and as Procaro as a drummer nor as a human are among us living mortals anymore, (in 2012 it will be 20 years since he died). I think it is fair to mention that he contributed to one of the most loved albums and best sold albums (and probaby most sold double album), and among the best songs on the album. It is not a wrong deed in my book, I will rather say it is an adimrable way of showing a late drummer legend the praise he really deserved. becouse Jeff in he's drummer carear workd he's ass of, since he was 16 with Steely dan when he was 20 he was asked to fill a track for Nick Mason, as 25 year old he played on Thriller, he have playd on Human Touch by Springsteen, On Every Street by Dire Straits, and Meenwhile by 10cc,

all those three albums was in a span of 2 years and he playd close to all tracks on each of those + Kingdom of Desire from 91 - 92, he never said no to an offer, or session he did it, to make this go round illieagal drugs are involved. and so on Im not going any futher
