What the hell? That's not a mellotron, it's a Yamaha keyboard. You can see the guy playing it! Almost obody even uses actual mellotrons anymore: they're horrible, unreliable instruments. I guess maybe you could interpret it as sounding sort of like a mellotron, but that's a very common keyboard sound in pop music, so it's not remarkable. It's so generic for "orchestral pop" I can't even think of another specific song at the moment, but I'm sure someone else will save me. Also, that song is over a year old, although for some reason that video was only just released. I don't know why the Biebs took so long to film his stupid video. ------------- if you own a sodastream i hate you |
