Going to be coming out with some polls and looking for best format. Been working on these polls for months now and still have months to go.

Two song polls always present a false dichotomy.  I like at least four or five options.  Voted for 8 - 10.  Up to 15 is okay I guess, more than that is too many and invevitably include selections I am not familiar with.

I would say around 5. It's not too much and it's also a nice amount of options, in my opinion.

Just don't go making 234235 polls a day like Gandalff used to do back in the day. Tongue

I could do that, but I'm afraid of the "hogger" song taking all the votes and not getting a feel for 2nd 3rd place etc. Or you may ignore the "biggie" and go for another just because. I'm starting to think 5 with parts and the top 2 or 3 move on to further rounds.

I think it should be up to each person how many options he wants to choose from.  Maybe have the same poll with every possible variation of choices.

5. Keeps it nice and concise and not too difficult.
