MINUTIAN - REPERCUSSIONS

Minutian will release their first album titled Repercussions in early May, exact date to be announced soon. Repercussions is the result of more than a year's work -- seven tracks of odd shapes & sounds.

The track list is as follows:

Hole
In Circles
Cold & Tight
Give In
Undone
Isolation
Three by Five

Repercussions was recorded at various locations in Helsinki between Dec 2009 - Mar 2011. Some making-of footage of the whole process coming up on www.minutian.com in the near future along with samples off the new album.

Minutian are a progressively inclined rock / metal group based in Helsinki, Finland. The band aspires to bring something fresh to the world of traditional rock rhythms.

Their influences are drawn from various directions, with some of the more prominent ones from bands like King Crimson, Tool, Mastodon and Oceansize, to name but a few.

The music of Minutian is quite rhythmically oriented and odd time signatures are not frowned upon. The band originates from a three song demo by drummer Antti Ruokola with which he started looking for like-minded musicians. With the forming of the current lineup the music too has found its distinctive form.

After a few changes along the way Minutian's lineup is now stable.

Each member has years of experience, live performances and studio sessions under his belt. Together as Minutian their objective now is to activate as a proper live unit and at the same time finish their upcoming release.

Each participant has years of encounter, stay shows and facilities periods under his buckle. Together as Minutian their purpose now is to switch on as a appropriate stay device and at the same time complete their future launch.
