The only original piece of prog music am i rite?
Everything after that was descended from it in some way so why even bother?

Moving Pics ?   The Wall is a good answer too.   I suspect there wasn't really a last Prog album any more than there was a first, though it did seem to recede faster than it grew.

The Nice - Ars Longa Vita Brevis never happened then in this parallel universe?
 
The last progressive rock album was Close To The Edge because music couldn't progress any further
 
The last prog album was released today but don't ask me what it is!

The last album in 1979 was the end of the golden era - perhaps The Wall.
 
however in all seriousness, the last prog album was released 5 seconds ago! Prog will never die!
