Hi Proggers!
Star
I have been liaising with John Fiocchi, known around here as Toddler. He has been busy making CDs of his music based on guitar and ambient keyboards. As a favour I put some of his tracks to some artistic slide shows on youtube. I dabbled with an uploader with montages, converted the music from WMA to MP3,  and loaded up psychedelic art show images from the internet. It is incredibly time consuming but I am quite pleased with the result.
Star
Have a listen to it and tell us what you think. Go easy on Toddler though as he is only starting out and just wants a bit of encouraging feedback. He has worked very hard on these clips which sounds like soundtrack music to movies which is his intention.
Star
There are no hidden agendas here, Toddler just wants his music to be heard and I am pitching in to help as it is a hobby of mine to create slide shows.
Star
I hope he can receive some positive feedback here as it will boost his confidence and I will post more clips of his music soon.

Heres the first:

FIRESPELL

Here's another longer clip to Toddler's (John Fiocchi's) Mountain Majick

This clip took me longer. I had to load more images and I loaded the clip with the One True Media montage of Nights visuals. I liked the way it turned out but wish i could have added more visuals as it gets repetitive but it seems to suit the music overall.

Hope you enjoy it and give some constructive feedback to the music.

Very interesting stuff, similar to music I myself attempt to write/record in many ways. Solid guitar work and a great atmosphere.

A very minor complaint I have is that the guitar is a little too low in the mix for my liking in the last minute or so.

Great stuff, I look forward to hearing more

Thanks for the support. If there is something about the music that you feel is lacking in any sense, go ahead and wail on me. I need suggestions from honest P.A. members. thanks I appreciate your insight.

Frankly, this stuff is way the hell up my alley.  "Firespell" had an exotic psychedelic feel that appealed to me, and I liked the guitar tone.  Then I went ahead and played "Mountain Majick," and really loved what I was hearing.  Love the keyboard tone and the guitar work is very skillful without becoming overbearing.  Very eclectic track- symphonic psychedelic jazz.  Cool!

For that second one, I would try to brighten the sound the of drums and the lead guitar a little more (the drums sound like they're in another room, and the guitar's "tone" needs to be increased- not by much, just a tad so that it's not too muffled).

A montage I made of Wolves howling at the moon and Spacescapes

The music is perhaps John Fiocchi's best - a track called "Patience With Wolves"

Hey Scott you have done a great job with these video's well done! Cool It's quite odd as you and I must have simular tastes? in the fact you have chosen a couple of my faves from John's work, IE: Patience With Wolves and Mountain Majick Smile I have just completed listening to John's cd's and I could only give him positive feedback. There's a heck of a lot of work gone into those recordings and a lot of heart. A lot of his work would make a great film score or maybe tv music, and his acoustic work on Lighthouse Summer is fabulous.
As a footnote, I was going to put these on Youtube for him myself but I could not figure out how to do it! Confused

^^^ hey thnx for the encouragement! i am glad you liked the clips. now i figured out how to do it, a long laborious process i admit, i am keen to continue to load peoples music here. its great for exposure, but i think a small fee perclip will give me an incentive. I mean, in all honesty, the "patience with wolves" clip took me at least 2 hours!
but its my fave out of the three!

Another example of a gifted artist with an inborn talent for his music. This would make a magnificent soundtrack for a movie !

New youtube clip of the Klaus Schulze inspired 'Sea Of Black Glass' by John Fiocchi (TODDLER)

I hope it works with the music - i loaded clouds and weird misty effects and NYC nightscape. Very ethereal and atmospheric.
