Aranis, Yugen and Alamaailan Vasarat? Well, our Portuguese friends will be able to tell us what to expect for the RIO festival! But I thought that the Gouveia festival lasted more than two days? |

It is always two days, the weakend. It was only three days long in 2009, because there was a public holiday on a Friday that year. ------------- Bigger on the inside. |

It wasn't as overwhelming as three years ago (they took everyone by surprise on their first time at Gouveia), but it was still extremely enjoyable - Kerman added a bit of zaniness to the performance despite the somewhat somber music.
On a related note, BAsta! was a very good surprise, completely different from Aranis, sometimes actually reminding me more of kosmische music rather than chamber music. ------------- Bigger on the inside. |
