Don't know if people on Progarchives care about football but... Go Packers!

Once upon a time there was some writing on the wall we all ignored, until the time that there was war and feasts of famine at our door

You havn't seen my NFL thread that has been on the first page all season?

I'm pulling for the Packers because I really like Rodgers and just don't want the Steelers to have another ring.
Not out of hatred for them though.

I can barely care when the Colts play the Superbowl, how can I possibly care when teams with even less likable players and fans play in it?

That said, the game is probably the best part of the spectacle, which says a lot. The ads suck recently, and the half time show is an embarrassment to our country.

A coworker of mine died Wednesday morning.  She was an enormous Packers fan.  I am cheering them on and drinking to her memory.  Wonderful woman who helped me get good at what I do.

Also the game is far from over, and the Giant fan in me will NEVER say a game is done, but things are rolling well for the Pack thus far. Big smile

I forgot, I do have an opinion and I have to agree with you. I don't want them to have another ring because they would just commit another rape with it.

Since I don't give a crap about sport but my wife is watching it because she likes the Steelers and since they don't have any votes yet I am going for what my wife would vote for. I'm going to have vote for the Packers.

Also because of this:
The Packers are the only non-profit, community-owned franchise in American professional sports major leagues.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

My wife and I were driving back from the mountains and stepped into a Mexican restaurant for burritos. The half-time show was on and literally killed my appetite. Slash and some American Idiotol contestant. Revolting.

I hate both teams (I'm more or a Raiders, Seahawks, Redskins or Viking fan), but I'd rather have preferred the Steelers to win it, on the count of the AFC

-------------
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I just realized, he's probably more likely to rape again out of anger! So now I don't know how I should feel.

I doubt ben will misbehave again but if he does the Rooney's who are a class act won't tolerate it. Just ask santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress. In the nfl the Steelers are a class act and anyone who has spent any time in Pittsburgh knows they can always count on them to be near the top every year.

That's what we thought after the first two accusations.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

I can't be sure something shady was not going on but I still believe in innocent until proven guilty. Maybe there was a cover up but I am not thinking the Rooney's would be involved in one.
