Hey,

Just wanted to let you know that the first issue of The Rocktologist is out. It was hard work, as it only involved the efforts of 5 people. I'm hoping the next issues will feature articles from many more people, so if you think you can write about music, do interviews, reviews, etc., feel free to contact me at: [email protected]. You can also simply tell me what you think about the site, your ideas, suggestions.

The same applies to any artists wanting some exposure: news items, reviews, interviews, etc. Feel free to contact me and one of our team will see to your needs (he he).

The first issue includes: interviews with Steve Hackett, Carl Palmer, Russ Ballard, articles on Deep Purple, The Red Masque and much more fun reading material (many reviews, including a special section on progressive music).

Have a look at the content page to see if there's anything you might be interested in:

Also check out our "featured song" section, where you can discover some great musical treasures (much of it prog).
Artists can feel free to contact me and send me some mp3's of their music, I'd be glad to use it.
For the time being, our "featured song" is
SIOUM - SHIFT
a really great band with much musical width, here presenting themselves with a heavier sound.

We've recently started a brand new feature, called "featured song", where you can listen to some fantastic news by relatively unknown bands. Our fetured song at this moment is Uberfall - Positives Lied, a fantastic little piece of sarcasm by Markus Stauss and co. Check back every few days for a new song and you're bound to discover some real gems.
