I am in the process of making a fretless guitar.  I'm current working on my neck and like a jackass I didn't look into this enough before hand.  So now that I've removed all the tape from the fretboard (yeah I know, poor choice), which was there to avoid getting stain on it, theres that sticky adhesive crap everywhere.  I just went to the store to get naphtha and lemon oil (to use afterwards) and they had neither!

This brings me to two questions.
1 Is Rubbing alcohol safe to clean the adhesive crap off the neck (or do you have a suggestion?) IF I am oiling it afterwards (otherwise I know it'll be too dried out afterwards).
2 I have Miniwax Tung Oil from a previous project-is this safe to use on the fretboard instead of lemon oil?

Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell?
I will not forgive you if you will not take the chance.

I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol on the neck, I can see that doing all sorts of damage if it isn't cleaned off properly. I have used a coarse tooth brush and lemon oil in the past to clean my fret board with much success. They sell that "Goo Gone" stuff that takes residue from price tags off glass and wood etc, that could potentially work as long as their are no wood-harming chemicals. Using it on a coffee table is one thing, but your guitar neck is another.

I already took care of it actually.  Naphtha and Lemon oil at request of luthier.  Yeah, the Rubbing Alcohol was something that sounded like it would never be a good idea.  I just wanted to check because it'd have been super convenient.
