What is your Live 8 wishlist if there was room for some extra bands? This is mine: 1st Choice: Genesis (Peter Gabriel era line up) 2nd Choice: ELP (that would be great, but would Bob Geldof want them there) 3rd Choice: Black Sabbath (with Ozzy) 4th Choice: Queen (with Freddie but that will never happen but I think Paul Rodgers could handle it) 5th Choice: Led Zeppelin (Jason Bonham, John's sons could do drums, I know it would not be fair to the late John Bonham but I think he would like them to tackle the Poverty, and Im sure Plant/Page/Jones would feel the same) 6th Choice: The Who (sadly no Entwhistle or Moon but the remaining two have carried on!) What would be your choices Prog Bands or Non Prog bands or even both. ------------- CYMRU AM BYTH

Marillion (with Fish) Cream (but I don't know if they'd want to play again after their recent performances) The Beatles (yes, I know John and George are dead, but you could get Julian Lennon to sing, and maybe Eric Clapton on guitar). |

No that i'll see it live, though it would be nice to see:
Pink Floyd (Are going to be there... that they're doing this IS a piece of music history!) Deep Purple (Mk. II) Cream (The 60's psych lads are reunited and spinning again) Beatles (Well... it's sad that they can't be there, i guess that many have wanted to see them reunited playing there) Embryo (Well... these magic german lads know how to do the finest art of ethnic krautrock) Emerson, Lake & Palmer (Wow!, i don't think that the majority wan't them there but it would be splendid) Jethro Tull (I love this band, think that many don't know about this and after seeing/hearing them they'll sell like never before) Bob Marley (Yes he's gone and it's sad, he's thee reggae god and i think he would've been a great act there...) Ten Years After (This band has it's own little place in my heart) Uriah Heep (With Byron on vocals, Splendid! could not be aranged though) Weather Report (I like this band but they're not on my top list, though they're a good band and would've done an unforgetable act) (Well... there's alot of bands that only did one album back in the 70's that would be very nice to see but would any know these bands???) ------------- *Dancing madly backwards on a sea of air* - Captain Beyond |

w/Jonas Reingold from Flower kings WR and Genesis (The Lamb line up). Hell, phil collins could sing too, I just wanna see them on stage together. Pink Floyd is already my#1 choice, too bad I won't make it |
