Good Evening Gentlemen and Gentlewomen,

this is the merry old 1921 Thread, in which us educated upper class Gentlemen can discuss in harmony the  latest news, far from the madding crowd.

I purchased my daily copy of The Times this morning, and I was delighted to find this mostly unexpected piece of news:

Allied forces have occupied Dusseldorf, Ruhrort and Duisburg !

What do you Gentlemen think?

Please telegraph your replies soon.

I for one am most excited about my first investment in the US stock market being a success!
I sure hope the good times continue on forever!

Three is a party. I'd say we're ruddy furious at present. Though don't tell Ruddy that! hahaha. He'd be right furious.

'Twas a banner year for the commies.  Not a good year to be a resident of Tulsa Oklahoma.

In lesser news, seems saucy French postcards may lose their appeal if the Propriety League gets its way.  Damned zealots.

So what do you gentlemen think of Boeing giving up on furniture making and getting into aircraft manufacturing. They  say that someday that we'll all be able to fly. Imagine the common man flying.

Going back to 1921 means I can't drink legally (assuming I'm still in the U.S.)

No thanks.
