I would have to say that JS is the best guitarist in the world when it comes to making interesting instrumentals. It not just a show off on his incredible skill he just makes fantastic tunes like Always with you always with me, raspberry jam or the extremist. I think in great contrast to forexample malmsteen, vai or johnson he makes songs instead of lenghty guitar solos, atleast it does not sound dull. |

He is a great guitarist, and not only on techinical side. he has "soul" too. "Crystal Planet" is amongst his weakest though, the better ones are Flying', Surfing' and Extremist'. Although he's not really
Buckethead holds that title. |

Same here.I also like Yngwie Malmsteen's first album Rising Force.Also Marty Friedman,Jason Becker,Eric Johnson,Vinnie Moore and Gary Moore(very very underrated) -------------  |
