Isn't Brussels close enough? LOL

BTW, what is wrong with you guys from the Northern Hemisphere? I have to travel 650km  to see any decent band, which is aproximately the distance between Paris and Berlin, and you can't travel 100km?

Serioiusly you guys, move your asses! Angry LOL

I travelled overseas once to see Kayo Dot and the concert didn't happen in the end even though I had already paid for it. OuchLOL So instead of rushing to throw a lot of money to only get screwed again, I would prefer they found a venue in the f**king best scene for prog concerts in the world (Paris). Tongue

Toby really should release a Kayo Dot DVD.

Maybe he could repeat the "donate, get a prize" process of "Part the Second" and "Tartar Lamb 2", I'm sure the response would be great Headbanger

Dude, I have to travel +2500km to see gigs worth seeing (in São Paulo and Rio).

Confused

Harmonium, I have to say you're a pu***.

Big smile

EDIT: Oh, sorry, I didn't read your post in response to Caio.

Sim; é o problema de viver em João Pessoa... Unhappy Só tem esse forró novo de puta e playboy, sertanejo e de vez em quando uma banda de pop rock como Capital Inicial

Well, at least Toquinho, Hermeto Pascoal, Paralamas, Nando Reis and other artists take their time to play a gig here once in a while.

I won't even travel 10 km for a gig because I am the worst.

I would do 100 for someone I really wanted to see (there are not many people who would get this), my limit is usually around 50. If you are going 2500km just for a gig you are insane.

Well, obviously if I'm travelling that distance I'll do more stuff. Visit relatives, buy stuff etc. That's the problem with Brazil; the few good foreign bands that play here (most of the national acts suck ass) only play at São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro or a couple of other cities in the south/middle-west area. Living in the northeast sucks, especially for a progger like me.

That must've sucked so bad! I haven't seen them live either, and they aren't coming to Finland this time... Unhappy

I've had tickets to Kayo Dot 3 times.

Twice the show got canceled and for the third I unsuccessfully tried to sneak in to a 21 only show.
