Some of my recordings from my never released album Pretentious Side of the Moon. I wish I was more dedicated to the art.
One of my solo acoustic tap pieces about the scariest mountain climb i ever did called Seven Gables. http://www.filefreak.com/files/751884_wneba/seven%20gables.mp3" rel="nofollow">
Here is one of my electronica pieces, in 13/8 .

This is appropriately called the "Dance of the Annoying Synth Patch." My first recording with my synth guitar. http://www.filefreak.com/files/751883_diff6/Dance%20of%20the%20Anoying%20Synth%20Patch%20Ian%20McIntyre%20Pretentious%20Side%20of%20the%20Moon.mp3" rel="nofollow">
I recorded this almost 20 years ago. It is the story of a comet destroying Earth called "The return of Hyakutake". It contains quite possibly the worst thrash metal guitars ever recorded. http://www.filefreak.com/files/751871_iqrog/Return%20of%20Hyakutake%20Ian%20McIntyre%20Pretentious%20Side%20of%20the%20Moon.mp3" rel="nofollow">

I liked the solo guitar piece a whole lot. Wonderful phrases and moods, kind of a folky vibe to it, one can picture something akin to the Scottish highlands while listening to this. That or the blue sky with a sort of disorienting feel to it. I'm not a guitarist myself, but I'd say it's technically pretty accomplished too. Nice work, it makes sense as a whole. Definitely my favorite from the bunch of them.
The second piece certainly kept me interested throughout, if nothing else. I liked the zappa-esque higher pitched runs. Felt something akin to polyphony rising from there, but not quite. Definitely enjoyed the break in about halfway through and the return to main theme.
The third has a kind of an ambient feel to it. It's an experimentation, I guess, can't find much to comment on it. The solo is enjoyable.
The beginning of the final piece almost immediately reminded me of Seven Gables once again. I really enjoy your acoustic guitar playing, definitely would like to hear more of that. Enjoyed the mood of the buildup. Clear lack of themes though, that's something perhaps you could work on. As it is, just harmonic progression, that sometimes lack the element of interest to really enthrall me on their own. However, still enjoyable.
Great work!

Thanks for listening! The comments and critique are well received. The last piece I had always thought of much more mechanically than compositionally. It definitely does not complete a circuit. Ends up being 3 separate pieces.
