Heya good folks!

I'm a british musician type living in Switzerland.

Fell in love with Prog via Genesis, Yes, Marillion, Camel, BJH
and the like... first proper Prog album I heard was Trick of the
Tail and I was hooked from the opening bars. Though I enjoy
a wide spectrum of Prog and other musiks my soft spot is still
with the symphies :)

I write songs,  dabble in a few electronica/sample based chill
projects, primarily Ethnomorph & Dub Monk

I also sing & write lyrics for Swiss prog band RAK.
We are currently mixing our second album called Book of Flight
and will work with cover artist Mark WIlkinson again.

We have a new facebook page (old one is down for now)
at http://listn.to/Rak   The music player has complete tracks
instead of just the samples and also has a rare track by
Rak's predecessor, Thonk, to download at the bottom of the
playlist.

We are starting to sniff around for gigs in europe & the UK
in Summer 2011 :)

Well thats more Rak news than introduction but hi to you all.
My, this place has grown since i was here a few years back!

Thanks man!
There is increasing talk of Lepidoptera being remixed/remastered
as well as some parts re-recorded. The recording & mixing sessions
were very rushed compared to the amount of time it took to write the
damn thing :)

I had taken a few years away from Prog... throwing myself into the worlds
of Dub & the like. Its great to have so much to be able to catch up on.

I was just enjoying your Omniscient work and have a question for you.
I'm trying to find the name of a recent comedy movie I saw about a musique
concrête artist. The film had musical scenes involving kicking a bucket full of
nails on  a chain and a storyline involving a more successful generic commercial
artist brother as well as other avant garde visual artists.... one finding a nasty end
under the weight of one of his bovine installations.

Ring any bells?

Cheers
Zozzy
