Aside from posting funny memes and videos, talking about Zeuhl and teh metulz, and giving advice on unusual guitar tunings, one of the main uses of the shred is to bitch about how pathetic your life is. All of these users have complained about unfortunate mishaps in their recent life, so I decided to make a poll of which shredder has the most depressing story to tell. Vote for the one that just makes you want to slit your wrists, and who knows, maybe they'll eventually even become an hero! If you are a shredder who thinks they have a sh*tty life, feel free to tell me and I'll put you in the poll for some free pity. I'll vote for stonebeard. He doesn't frequent the shred as often as some others, but whenever he does you can bet that he probably doesn't have any good news to share.

I actually first recorded this a year ago, and it had more ideas, but the take kind of sucked. And then I was too lazy to follow through I was compelled, metaphysically, however, to finally redo it at this moment (also my parents were out of the house). The quality is a bit sh*t because I used my laptop's webcam, but nobody will give me the money for a good mike. :( As far as I'm concerned, you all deserve this. :| ------------- if you own a sodastream i hate you |

That is how I play guitar all the time by the way, trying to find the pure music of no tonality or rhythm. The screaming hurts my throat, though, so I save that for special occasions. Someone voted for me and it wasn't me! Cool. But overall I doubt I'm the most depressing. I'm just suffering in post-almost-got-laid-but-not syndrome. It's not officially recognized in the medical community. 2deep4them. Also, Henry's not depressing, he's in college, an asst. manager at Bed Bath and Beyond (Mad pussy, man. Mad.) Rob creates music and probably gets laid frequently. I'd say probably Vompatti or Matt. Living in a meth lab disguised as a town...idk guys.

Thank you for your kind words internet, I do it all for you. I also uploaded the first take I did of it. It's slightly different, I forgot a couple things I said in the first take that I meant to say in the second, and I also briefly played the guitar with a banana. Also, at the end I play the guitar open strings if you want to hear my "tuning". I have no idea what it's actually tuned to, it's a combination of not actually tuning it for at least 6 months or more, strings that are about 3 years old, and turning the knobs myself randomly to try to get a harsher dissonance. Also, I just realized that apparently you can't hear the piano playing Chopin through the distorted amp in the beginning on Youtube, that's weird I can hear it on the original. I'm on my other laptop, maybe it's just this computer being fail, as usual. ------------- if you own a sodastream i hate you |
