Hey there,

I am a new member... still familiarizing myself with the site.

I posted a press release announcing Total B.S.' 1st album release in THIS forum (2 times- thinking I made a mistake when my first post disappeared) and it seems to have been moved  to another forum... specifically... "Get the Word out"

I assume that was intentional by an administrator.

Can you tell me if there are restrictions in this forum that I might not be aware of?

Also, if YOU are an administrator with the authority  to remove a post... would you be so kind as to remove one of the press releases I posted because now there are (2) of the same in the thread.

Also, is it normal protocol to reply to posts in the thread?  I did but it doesn't seem evident which comment my reply is in response to because it defaults to the bottom of the thread.  Hope that makes sense and... again... feel free to correct my termninology so I can communicate comprehensively on here...
Maybe there's a glossary of sorts?

Thanks!

Sara

Hi Sara,

The Prog Music Lounge, Prog Recommendations, Prog Polls, Live Performance Reviews, Prog News, etc, therefore all the sub-sections of the Progressive Music Lounges, are dedicated to bands from the PA database. That's why if you post a thread about a band that's not on PA in once of these sub-sections, it's going to get moved. Also, this thread should have been started in the forum_topics.asp?FID=59&title=i-have-a-question-for-you - I Have A Question For You......? sub-section.

Thanks HR, I've PM'd the member, deleted the duplicate post as requested, and moved this thread.

For which the "quote" function is used.

Sara

Nice to see you here

as above, if you want to specifically answer a question or respond personally to post such as this one, click the word quote, on your right (above every thread you will see it. Then post your message and it will post the thread plus your response. I hope that makes sense. Have fun here Sara. We are all friends here (well mostly).
