Robert Fripp will play in a Methodist church in Rome from 12th to 15th of December. 4 gigs at 9PM and one in an afternoon. He will play with a saxophonist only (not Mel Collins).

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

You could have added that the saxophonist is Theo Travis: a star of contemporary prog in his own right!

I heard the new on the radio and I didn0t catch other than what I wrote. As soon as I have more info I'll post them.

Yes, it's this. The radio said 5 gigs, but I may have misunderstood.

Well, the dates in November didn't happen, so I guess 5 dates are inclusive of those previously planned.

Hopefully, "One More Red Nightmare." Heart  The track laid down long ago on vinyl has the sultriest saxophone I've ever heard. Cool Could be a bit of a challenge without the drum fills however. Confused

They'll play the drone/ambient music they've been doing on this album:

../album.asp?id=23588"> 2.18 | 3 ratings ../album.asp?id=23588 - Thread (with Theo Travis)
2008

Nothing to do with Crimson music.

Seriously, it is rated that low?

I just don't know why, Fripp makes some of the most beautiful ambient music out there.

This is a trademark of PA: bringing together so many completely different people. Prog fans rating down ambient, acid music fans rating down pompous prog, metallers rating down avantgarde, etc. I agree with you, I like that album very much.
