Hey guys. I'm DT-PT. I like DT and PT. Which of these songs do you like most? *rolls out a bunch of songs everyones heard a million times and are in every poll known to man with some extra Dream Theater* Personally I like the ones by Dream Theater. Y'know guys Petrucci's the best damned guitarist out there, and Dream Theater is made up of complete gods and everyone who does not like them deserves dismemberment.

Btw Steven Wilson has smexy glasses.

Why don't Genesis sue that rubbish band who used the same name in the 70's?

I just read your post, Moshkito, and I feel offended by you saying I am not able to enjoy music because I "care about labels too much".

I realise now that I was a bit of a troll there. Not that I knew what a troll was. I just wanted to start with a splash. This was the first forum I got involved in properly after using the site for a while and I didn't really know how to behave.

Some might say I still don't.......

^ Do you feel differently about Yes now?

BTW of all the classic prog giants Yes are my least favourite (occasionally brilliant certainly but more often sorta samey to me)

Is it true his very first post was literally just a giant rant about why Green Day is terrible? LOLRawks

Halfway through that thread someone posted "reed lover is a mong". (for no apparent reason). LOL

I must have been about 12 the last time I used that word.

Oh, how I miss KE9. Those were the days. Now he knew how to troll!!

I'll try and find my first post. I'm sure it was just as inane and pointless as anything I post these days, probably just slightly less bitter and opinionated.

^^ He apparently threatened to track down and murder numerous people.

His posts may be cached somewhere. I hope so. I'd love to read them again.

LOL

I find it embarrassing to read those old posts of mine.

@harmonium  I just did a search for my user name looking for post a year or older. Not sure if that was my first post and my first thread or not. I guess it could be my first post too.

Apparently my early days were filled with starting threads about http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13127 - Kansas and http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=12424 - Triumph that veered sharply off-topic.  And apparently I was a bit of a dick about it.

Sorry LOL

Phil Collins really should be added to prog-related; after all he was the drummer for Brand X and Genesis.

Quote Hello, my name is Carlos and after a time to know this site finally I register me like user, by my badly english but now that I have learned more I give me the opportunity to enter the community (and with a litle help of Babel Fish, jeje).

I have 19 years old and Im from Mexico, from the north of the country (regiomontano) and i like most of the prog music that i have listened (i don`t like very much the prog of the 80's, some Neo Prog and King Crimson).

Im studying Graphic Design in the University and i I discovered the prog rock 2 years ago, and my life change, I can't pass a day without prog.

mmm, Babel Fish isn't that good as I thought but I made the try.

My god! my english was really bad back then Pinch, is like if Borat was a PA member and wrote that post (well, Im not an expert right now, but you can notice the diference).

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=17531&KW=&PID=1827387#1827387 - More crappy english right here.
