Queen had many songs, which are very related to Prog, even we straightly consider it as Prog. So, which are your favourites?

As regards me, I´m just discovering Queen´s music. I consider about Bohemian Rhapsody (of course!), then Prophet´s Song (superb!) and Innuendo (swan song).

Please, recommend me any songs or albums of Queen, which are genuine masterpieces.

I was going to say the same... Smile

March Of The Black Queen especially, and the Fairy Feller's Master Stroke.

Congrats on deciding to explore this one-of-a-kind band!
As you probably know, or will soon find out, Queen are more of a songs/hit singles type of band, rather than an album one.
However, for great attempts at having cohesive albums. you should check for starters: Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera and A Day At The Races.
Ejoy and let us know what you thought of them.Big smile

Yeah Snow Dog pretty much answered this question. That whole album screams prog.

Would you like some Bailey's?

Other than Queen II, huh?

Honestly, their debut is a great hard rock/prog affair.  My Fairy King and Great King Rat are AMAZING.

Everyone knows that "March of the Black Queen" (along with the rest of Queen II) is the most prog they ever got, but The Prophet's Song and much of the debut come close. The Sheer Heart Attack album is very good and very strange, but not really prog per se, though certainly experimental.

For me Sheer Heart Attack is their strongest album but like Thellama pointed out, not perhaps the proggiest.

^ yeah I don't mean entirely bereft of prog e.g. Brighton Rock and In the Lap of the Gods are kinda Proggy but just that such is the variety of moods and styles invoked by the album you ain't necessarily looking for those elements in particular.

Bereft.....a great word.

She Makes Me is also maybe a bit on the proggy side. Just a brilliant album really. So fresh.

Yep, actually She Makes Me has always reminded me of the Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs (or in this case Venus in erm...clogs)
